A free, open-source teleprompter for macOS. Speech-to-text auto-scrolling with Apple Speech and WhisperKit. On-device voice recognition. Your scripts never leave your Mac.
We built the teleprompter we wanted. Free. Open source. MIT-licensed. No accounts, no subscriptions, no tracking. Just a native Mac app that listens to your voice and scrolls your script.
A notch-connected window that flows seamlessly from the macOS menu bar. Three themes tuned for any lighting. Built with Swift and AppKit.
...and that brings us to the core of the presentation.
The future of public speaking is not about memorization.
It's about clarity and confidence.
When you free your mind from remembering lines,
you can focus entirely on connecting with your audience.
Choose between Apple Speech or WhisperKit for on-device voice recognition. Prompter listens and scrolls in real time. No foot pedals. No remote controls. Just speak.
Intelligent transcript alignment matches your spoken words to the script. If you pause, the teleprompter pauses. If you skip ahead or go off-script, it catches up with configurable smoothing.
Built-in VAD distinguishes speech from silence. The prompter holds position during natural pauses — no unwanted drift during turn gaps or breathing room.
A custom window shape with inverted corners that flows seamlessly from the macOS notch/menu bar. Maximizes usable screen real estate with a design that looks native.
Midnight: deep navy with cyan accents. Dark: pure black with white text. Light: warm off-white with blue highlights. Each tuned for readability under studio lights, sunlight, or late-night sessions.
Pin the prompter to any connected display or let it follow your active screen automatically. Left, center, or right alignment. Adjustable width and height.
Open Settings with ⌘, and paste your script into the built-in text editor. Use [brackets] for stage directions like [pause] or [smile].
Enable Speech Tracking and hit Space. Prompter listens through your mic and aligns your voice to the script in real time using Apple Speech or WhisperKit.
Focus on your audience. The text follows you — pausing when you breathe, catching up when you rush. Reset any time with ⌘R.
